A cake that captures the moment

Oh, the Love that has been poured, stirred, and baked into this Christmas cake!

My youngest son had a day off school (with an illness that miraculously disappeared at 9.05am!), so as per our tradition, we popped on some Christmas tunes (always Bublé!) and threw ourselves into making this glorious cake together.

He ate half the mixture, I guessed at the all the measurements, the licked spoon was double-dipped repeatedly, and the oven door was open and closed more times than our country’s borders! (With strict health and safety regimes in place, as you can see!)

But somehow, it has turned out absolutely perfect in every way, as everything always does. And I think it’s because perfection, for me now, has little to do with the material outcome and everything to do with fullness of presence in the moment.

We always have all the ingredients for perfection, it’s just that we mistake perfection for something other than what is.

This cake, stuffed full of fruit and Love, represents not only Christmas, but the joy of the moment we were in. And it’s absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious! I wish I could share a slice with each and every one of you. Let me know if you’d like this super-easy, super-yummy recipe.

My gift is my free sharing of Love, and that extends far beyond the healings that I offer, for when we are simply Being Love, Love permeates our doing at all times.

Christmas is about giving, and I have awoken to the realisation that it’s never about giving the material, it’s about sharing freely the Brilliance that we are.

With Love Kirsty
