Listening with allowance

There's a lot written about listening with understanding, and whilst this is honourable, it is not always possible. We don't always understand another's perspective or experience. So I think it's more beneficial to promote listening with allowance to what we may not understand.

What we do need to understand is that we are FREE to welcome into our system only that which nurtures who we truly are, and we are FREE to release all that does not. With this freedom, why would we ever deny another their truth or their perspective? We have the power within to freely release anything that does not serve us. So freedom is not another's to gift to us; it is our to claim at anytime within.

Can you imagine the world if instead of promoting freedom of speech, we promoted freedom within? Freedom of speech would be merely an outcome of this allowance of freedom within.

And listening? Listening would be a pleasure, for there would be no need to ever deny another's words for what they are: simply a perspective other than our own.

Thank you.

Kirsty
