Standing in the light of my truth

Sometimes we are guided to do something for reasons unbeknown to us at the time. On a walk along the shores of Lake Benmore near Omarama, NZ, something made me stop and take a selfie in front of this beautiful old farm building.

I turned my face towards the light that I could feel brilliantly shining upon me, and I captured what is probably my favourite photo of myself ever — not because I look a certain way, not because my hair is just so, not because I’ve managed to hide perceived flaws, just because I have captured me standing in the light of my truth; at least, that’s what this photo symbolises for me.

I find myself stepping more and more into my fullness, honouring my calling to share the Wisdom of Love regardless of how it may or may not be received. The joy that resonates within me when I honour truthfully who I am is more powerful than I can express. I feel a deep sense of purpose beyond the material, beyond society’s dictations, beyond the bounds of my preconceived ideas of what a purposeful existence encompasses.

To arrive HERE, where my purpose is simply to BE LOVE, is to arrive Home in the light of my truth, and I encourage you all to be guided by your truth to step into the fullness of who you are in this now.

A week later, when we were driving back through Omarama on our way home, I noticed that Omarama is a “place of light”.

Yes, sometimes we are guided for reasons unbeknown to us at the time, but if we trust in our guidance, we are offered such perfect synchronicities that illuminate our connection with the All.

Thank you.

Kirsty
