In this respect, nowhere is the absence of expectation, the ambling not the arrival, the being without a purpose.
Now, this an interesting one to share hot off the back of the last post, where the Wisdom was guiding us towards realising our calling or true purpose. But don’t mistake that purpose as a forceful application of our Being because our calling will not ever be a force; it will only ever be a flow.
It will be purposeful, but only in its essence. Within our calling, our Being will be free. But if we have a wantful, driven-by-desire state of mind, where we are not ambling along but striding towards, our Being is not free.
Let’s consider an analogy here. When I was walking in the hills of Akaroa this weekend, I didn’t know the time, I barely knew the day, and I didn’t have any reference of where I was. I was just somewhere in the hills, exactly where, I have no idea.
I was ambling nowhere in particular because I had not labelled where I was in my mind, I had not determined the purpose for ambling, I had not given myself a time frame during which I could amble, and I had not considered what I would do beyond my ambling. My Being was free from an outline. I didn’t need to worry about colouring over the lines. (Remember that fear as a little person?!)
With freedom to colour anywhere I wanted, my Being bloomed. With freedom to amble unhindered by purpose, my Being bloomed. And with freedom to bloom naturally within, my Lower Self felt free as well. At that point, I was nowhere in particular but here.
Can you see how there is a possibility that we could exist in that way permanently if we would let go of our addiction to the lines?
Ambling is allowing a flow, and if we were to trust a little more in our Being and allow our action to be more ambling and less driven by a desire to get to, then we would achieve not just better results — because results are just the occurrences of alignment — we would also manifest more freedom outwardly because the more that we honour our flow of freedom within, the more that we manifest freedom of flow without.
When I returned from my nowhere, I experienced a shift in my energy that welcomed a little more flow into my Being, and I’ll share more about that in my next Wisdom.
Thank you.
Kirsty
