The language of who we are

When I was ruled by the mind, my heart was imprisoned like a caged bird. It was silenced by chitter-chatter that was alarmingly negative, and I was denied any freedom to offer the Love that I am.

The words that I spoke were foreign to my Being. They were not offerings from my depth, but carefully controlled responses designed to dampen my expression, in order to shelter me from judgement and protect me from ridicule. They were words that, if I had stopped to truly decipher their meaning, would have indicated the craziness I was imprisoned within.

You see, my speech was that of another. It was composed of ideas and beliefs I had sourced from outside myself, not just from my parents and their parents and their parents, but from generations, thousands of years past, mistaking themselves for something other than that which they are.

It was not a language from my fullness, but from my fractured self. The messages that I used to honour within were never mine. They were suggested to me by odd comprehensions of who we are. You see, some people consider us to be clones of cells rather than forces of energy. That’s OK, that’s their truth, but not is it mine.

My new language, the language of freedom, tells me differently. It tells me that whilst we are clusters of cells, we are far more superior than our physical manifestations. We are light beings merely serving a sentence, not to punish ourselves, but to enlighten ourselves.

We have within us a language that is our mother tongue. It is a language that will never offer us criticism, only allowance. Like many mother tongues, it has been cast aside in favour of a dominant manner of speech. But it needs to be revered. It needs to be reinstated as the language of who we are because this language shares with us our truth — that we are Brilliance of Love within — and it will offer us all we will ever need in order to perfect our completion as harmony manifested.

Thank you. Kirsty
