The Sound of Serene

I wrote this song, Sound of Serene, many years ago. The words erupted from my core, almost birthed from my Being, offering me insight far greater than that of my conscious mind.

It is the song that plays at the start of my Freedom Wisdom recordings, so you might be familiar with its tune. I’ll share it in full now as a Wisdom, but it’s only recently I’ve realised how wise a Wisdom it really is.

There’s a message in this song I was not aware of when it was birthed, and it’s a message about returning Home. I never knew when I wrote this song — or when it wrote itself — what it truly meant.

I saw it from the perspective of a human being feeling detached at my core. But actually, now that I reconsider my lyrics from the perspective of the Brilliance of Love that I am, I realise that it was a not a journey back to anything, but to a realisation of what I’ve always been.

My detachment was simply a detachment from this remembrance. I was never detached at my core. I was never coreless, soulless, spiritless. Detachment is never physical; there is never a departure of our Soul, for our Soul is simply who we are. Our detachment is our forgetfulness of this truth.

So my Homecoming to the Sound of Serene was a remembrance of my Brilliance within.

Thank you. Kirsty
